Dear Rushers,

At the beginning of this week, the government has set out its plan of the first steps towards returning to normal life. We understand that these are for now only baby steps, but it’s giving us hope that this situation won’t last forever and these unpredictable global obstacles will be beaten.

We were looking forward to our colourful event season with you amazing Rushers, and we believe you must be upset that two events have been postponed lately, but as we can all surely agree that for now, this is the right thing to do. We kindly ask you all lovely participants to still patiently wait for our updates regarding the alternative dates as we want to offer you the best possible day in the near future when having fun with friends and loved ones are safe again. You have shown understanding and support in this situation, for which we are incredibly thankful.

We have everyone’s health and safety in mind in these extraordinary circumstances we currently live in. All participants of the upcoming events will be contacted via email nearer to the event, along with the procedures and the possible measures. We won’t cancel our events but it looks like we just need to postpone for a later date as a precautionary measure, seeing the current health risk is on and strongly looks to continue.

Currently, at the earliest in the beginning of June, these current lockdown measures will be reviewed and if the progress is sufficient, some of the regulations will be lifted. It hasn’t been clarified yet how long the restrictions for outdoor events will be valid, but as soon as the government feels attending events will be safe, we will start our events funnier and brighter with colours than ever.
Like PM said on Sunday: ”for now we must stay alert, control the virus and save lives.”

We hope you have enjoyed the chance to exercise outdoors today.

29.4.2020

Dear Rushers,

hopefully, you and your loved ones have stayed well and healthy.

In 250 hours the first colour festival of the tour 2020 should begin in Bath. Now we encounter unprecedented global obstacles on the way and we upsettingly assume that unfortunately, the first events will need to be postponed. We won’t be canceling the amusement, we are just postponing it once it’s safe to have fun again.

The current lockdown measures are set until 7th May. The government has made no decision yet on whether the current lockdown measures will continue beyond that date, but in our opinion, it strongly looks like the current health risk and lockdown continue beyond that date. We’re waiting for the official decisions from the government to be sure the new date we’ll offer will be safe for all of us to have some fun together with our friends and loved ones. We are working hard to make the fun possible again. However, as the government evaluates the situation in three-week periods, rescheduling the current events to an uncertain future is really challenging at this stage and we prefer to wait until we know it’s safe to continue our events. Hopefully, we will hear updated official information soon.

We understand that in this current situation participating in an event isn’t on the top of your mind and we want to provide flexibility for you. If the event date needs to be moved, every ticket will be transferred automatically to the new date once the risk has passed. Optionally, we’re happy to see you for another date next year if the rescheduled date doesn’t work for you, or until you can make it again so your tickets will be kept safe. Without any transfer fees, of course.

Please, wait patiently to the announcement of the possible postponement. Living in an uncertain situation is frustrating for all of us, but everyone’s safety is our priority and we want to function accordingly.

We will contact you via email closer to the event. We thank you for all your kind messages of support and we’re here for you when you’re ready to celebrate under the clouds of colours again.

17.4.2020

Dear Rushers,

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused a lot of concern recently. That is why we would like to share an important message with you. We are sure that many of you would like to know how the current situation affects our events. We answer all the urgent questions below.

The safety of our participants and teammates is always our top priority. We follow closely and apply all instructions given by the official authorities. At the moment the restrictions in the UK must remain in place until May 7 and possibly beyond.

It is with great sadness that we send you this information but, as the health instructions given by the government are extended and following the decision taken by the National Government, the Color Obstacle Rush events in this spring might need be postponed to another date. We will inform you as soon as possible with an email regarding the measures. As the situation is evaluated in three-week periods, it is really challenging for us to predict the situation this summer in terms of possible postponements of the events, but rest assured that everyone’s safety is our priority and we will function accordingly.

When it is safe to arrange events again, we have already taken a lot of new measures to ensure everyone stays safe but still has a great experience at the events. For example we have limited the number of participants to less than 250 in each wave to ensure you have more space when passing through the obstacles. All event areas have also been enlarged to allow a minimum of 4 square meters per person at any time and hand sanitizers will be available in multiple locations.

We also ask that you, Rushers, wait patiently for the announcement of the possible postponement. Because changing the date of the event disappoints us too, we are working hard to make the possible transfers for you lovely Rushers as smooth as possible. Please, read our frequently asked questions on our website and kindly wait patiently for further information.

We are always counting on your presence and your energy, and we will soon meet again under our clouds of colours.

Stay safe ❤️

With colourful greetings,

Your Color Obstacle Rush Team

26.3.2020

Dear Rushers,

Greetings from our home offices. How are you doing?

We wanted to reach you all with some information. We know many of you are wondering how the current situation is affecting our events.

Most of you are wondering if we will be able to hit the obstacles in May, June or July. We fully understand your concern and we kindly ask for your understanding and patience in these extraordinary times. After the first lockdown weeks, we will be wiser and we will keep in touch with you all. You can follow our news here on our website where we keep you updated for most recent developments.

For now, the events in the UK will take place as planned. As long as the authorities do not cancel an event, it is difficult for us to make a justified and financially responsible decision. We do anticipate the lockdown to be extended longer than three weeks, but we are waiting for the official report from the authorities. The possible rescheduling of our events puts a great deal of pressure on our team and organization since many of the costs still occur on the original date. But with the help of you lovely and supporting Rushers, we will get past this difficult situation and meet again under our coloured clouds!

For now, please, obey the government’s advice, stay home and follow the practice of social distancing. The sooner we all take part in this practice, the sooner we have a chance to party together!

We will respond to all emails and messages soon – you dear Rushers are the reason why we as an organisation exist and we are lucky to have a community like you, to keep on creating these happy moments together – kindly stay patient in giving us time to reply to all your queries.

Please stay home as much as you can, continue keeping yourself strong and in good health. Call your loved ones and find happiness in the little things.

17.3.2020

We’re living in extraordinary times and we’re learning more about COVID-19 daily. Here we will continue to update you lovely Rushers of the current situation regarding our events in the UK this Summer.

As much as we all want to have fun and bounce in the inflatables, the most important thing we can do now is to avoid catching and speeding the coronavirus.

Therefore, we would like to remind you all from now on to follow the government’s guidance:

– wash your hands with soap and water often, at least for 20 seconds
– if soap and water are not available, remember to use hand sanitizer gel.
– cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
– avoid close contact with people who have any symptoms of flu
– stay at home as much as you can
– avoid traveling and social actives

Looking on the bright side, we still can:

– Fulfill the dreams we have been chasing
– Take long walks in the forest
– Cook healthy food and try new recipes
– Call your grandparents
– Practice new random skills
– Spread positive thoughts

This situation won’t last forever.
We appreciate everyone’s patience.

10.3.2020

Dear Rushers,

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been on almost everyone’s mind lately and we wanted to reach out to all of you. We’re sure a lot of you are wondering how this affects our events and we are here to provide answers.

The safety of our participants and team members is always our top priority. We follow closely all instructions and/or recommendations of official authorities.

At the moment we assume all of our events will go on as planned according to our original schedule.
All in all, you can feel safe signing up for Color Obstacle Rush. Our aim is to arrange all events as planned but rest assured that should we be forced to change dates for some events, all tickets are transferable easily.

We’d like to mention a few factors related to Color Obstacle Rush. Firstly, our events take place outside and the people are always spread out along the 5km long track. We’ve made adjustments to the schedule as well so that we have a 30min break after every second start group.

We’ve also made sure you have more space when queuing for example in check-in or the start of the course. Furthermore, our warm-up prior to the course and the color festival afterward are arranged in different areas in order to have fewer people in one single place at a time.

We’ve added hand sanitisers to multiple points in the event including check-in, event entry and water stations where extra care will be taken to ensure hygiene. Our color powder is distributed by contracted workers in sealed bags who have all been properly instructed. At no point, there is no human touch before the colour is distributed.

We also use ozonation to disinfect our obstacles between events. We’ve added these extra steps in order to provide you Rushers a safe and fun event!
Safety is by far our first priority. We are working hard to find and come up with any adjustments to the events in order to keep everyone safe.

See you all soon!
